C. research and development

1. The main activity of this division is to conduct research and development in     the field of vocational rehabilitation for people with disabilities.

2. These research works contribute to improve and develop vocational     rehabilitation systems so that peoplae with disabilities would be workers who     are skillful and profesional in own specialiies, as well as who are competent in     acquiring works and in adapting themselves to the workplace.

3. Research and development activities consist of:
     a. Research and development on vocational rehabilitation, namely, clients,          rehabilitation systems, facilities, curriculum, methods and technical aspects         of vocational rehabilitation, and their accessibility for people with disabilities.
     b. Research and development on instructor, namely, quality and quantity,         facilities, learning process for instructor, curiculum and methods of instructor         training.
     c. Research and development on job placement and aftercare, namely, on         the job training system, training system, employer and aftercare, labor         market, health and safety for people with disabilities.

4. information service through journal, booklet, leaflet, website / email, and     exhibition is available to support the vocational rehabilitation activities at NVRC.

5. Library is operated with more than 10.000 books that consist of textbook,     general books, religious books and etc.
