2. Vocational Training

Vocational training is provided for people with physical disabilities for offering them knowledge and skill necessary to be competent in job markets

There are five training courses, namely, computer, machine sewing, graphics design (printing), metal work, and electronics, with duration of 8 months (1200 hours)

a. Computer
This course offers a professional ability in computer operation using various application software, operating system, word processor, spreadsheet, data base, network system, programing language, accounting, internet.
And the course offers also training in computer maintenance.

B. Machine Sewing
The training consist of pattern design, cutting, and finishing of the clothes for men, women and children with home and factory industry techniques

 

c. Graphics Design (Printing)
The training consist of:
1. Pre-press: desk top publishing (DTP: document     making with a computer), and film making, plate     making.
2. On-press: printing
3. Post-press: finishing / binding

d. metal work
This course consist of three technical fields as below
1. Machinery: engeenering drawing, metal     processing (lathe, milling, grinding and shaping),     CAD and CAM
2. Welding: electric and gas welding (oxygen,     acetylene adn argon /CO2)
3. Diesel and gasoline engines

e. Electronics
The training consist of:
1. Low-tension Current: repairing of audio visual     equipment, regulator and communication     equipment.
2. High-tension Curent: repairing of washing     machine, refrigerator, air conditioner and motor /     dynamo, installing of electricity, sequential     control and PLC (Programmable Logic Control:     programming for automation of industrial     machines).
